End of the Nightmare

I had a very long journey, which felt would have no end, before my mum discovered Healing Hands Clinic.

For the 5 years previous, I suffered with a complex horseshoe fistula and I did not see an end to my suffering! I had countless failed surgeries, and when I went back and tallied them it was more than 30. The UK medical system didn’t have any answers for me. But then came Dr. Porwal. The minute I landed and made my way to the clinic he said I would be healed. I had waited so long to hear those words uttered to me and I believed him. Every word he said. I knew this would be the end of the nightmare I had been stuck in.

My mum and I were told I could be there for 10-12 weeks. I would have regular checkups and cleanings after the first operation. After that, I would have more check-ups/cleanings to see how things were healing. Things couldn’t have gone smoother. I was able to continue going to the gym, hiking in the mountains and swimming. Being told that I can swim and there wouldn’t be any problems meant the world to me. It may seem a small thing, but it was so big in my eyes.

After my last operation I was given the clear and my nightmare had ended. I could finally live again. This was only after 7 weeks. I’m not sure what magic Dr Porwal uses, but it works. I honestly owe him my life. Now being back home in the U.K. I have the job I’ve always wanted, swim in the sea, and have a bath with bubbles. These are little things but honestly mean the world to me. There are not enough thank yous in the world to show my appreciation to Dr. Porwal. He truly saved my life.
